Warranty
Effective October 21, 2026. These terms apply to purchases made on or after this date. Earlier purchases remain subject to the warranty terms provided at purchase.
Fire Pits & Chimineas — One-Year Limited Warranty
plodes studio warrants the bodies and welds of its wood-burning fire pits, gas fire pits, and Pillar Chimineas against manufacturing defects for one year from delivery.
Coverage applies to the original purchaser buying directly from plodes studio or an authorized retailer, with proof of purchase. Accessories are not included in this body-and-weld warranty.
Resolving a Covered Defect
plodes studio may choose repair, replacement, or a refund. Repairs may be performed locally when arranged or approved by plodes studio. A partial refund may be offered by mutual agreement when the product can safely remain in use.
Necessary transportation for covered claims within the contiguous United States will be arranged and paid for by plodes studio. For other locations, transportation arrangements and any customer-paid charges will be agreed upon before service proceeds.
Contact us before arranging repairs or returning a product. We do not reimburse repair or transportation expenses incurred without our approval.
What Is Not Covered
Natural patina development, normal finish variations, and ordinary wear.
Damage caused by misuse, improper installation, or failure to follow supplied care and operating instructions.
Disconnection, removal, installation, or reinstallation services or expenses.
Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the expense limitations above may not apply to you.
Supplied Gas Components
Supplied burners, valves, ignition systems, and related gas components are covered separately under their manufacturers’ applicable warranties. Coverage and duration vary by component and application. Contact us for help identifying the applicable warranty.
Requesting Warranty Service
Email info@plodes.com with your order number or proof of purchase, delivery date, a description of the issue, and photographs.
We will review the information and advise whether inspection or additional details are needed.
If the defect is covered, we will coordinate the remedy and any approved repair or transportation arrangements.

Shipping Damage
Report shipping damage promptly, with photographs of the product and packaging. Keep the packaging until we provide instructions. We will help coordinate the carrier claim and appropriate next steps.
Our made-to-order return policy does not prevent claims for covered manufacturing defects.
