gm is an ethos; it is also good morning. The original object in the photograph was physically made/welded on 10/08/2021 in Houston, TX. Days later it was destroyed to only exist on the Ethereum blockchain. As the physical artwork of gm 2021 is destroyed, the physical artwork of gm-2 2021 is inversely distributed to the first owner that redeems it. The ‘gm’ pieces explore the relationship of the coexistence, or lack thereof, of physical art sources and their NFT counterparts.
