UH LAW COURTYARD
A consultation and design of a courtyard within University of Houston’s Law College. As major reconstruction of a related courtyard was underway, plodes® studio was charged with upgrading this existing courtyard with a limited budget. We presented a flexible modern solution with products what allowed for reconfigurations based on need, use, and longevity that activated and engaged the entire space. The addition of evergreen Italian Cypress trees reaching for the sky, and the rich angular teak wood of the benches, compliment the clean lines and rhythm of the existing brutalist architecture while softening and warming the feel of the space.
