“BACKSPACE” is MORTAR’s community-oriented free space dedicated to showcasing and fostering creativity through an ongoing series of really cool artcentric events. Join us July 8-10 at the Summer Pop-up Market, featuring sidewalk sale items from MORTAR up to 75% off, mid-century modern furniture by Re|mod and design objects by plodes studio. Scope out men’s and women’s vintage eyewear from Smith Opticians and women’s vintage clothing from Fashion Plate (Sunday only).

Our own limited edition reDo chair was there with them during NeoCon 2011 to help convey the opulance+salvage.  Hmm....reFlor?

2 plodes studio products were chosen for exhibition at Design Within Reach's (DWR) Annual M+D+F exhibition on May 26th in Austin, TX. 

"The 4th Annual Modern + Design + Function Austin Furniture Now is a juried exhibition designed to uncover and promote innovative modern furniture." -via DWR website

So come see our Float Collection Chaise lounge and Flame fire element if you are in and around the DWR Austin, TX on Thursday, May 26, 2011 at 6pm.  Pieces are ready to order!
