HAVEN Outdoor Cisterns (5)
Concepts for Haven restaurant addressing its existing outdoor space. A problem of unwanted and uncomfortable breezes through its outdoor area is addressed as a windbreaking signage/fire element/window near the main entrance. Cisterns were also explored to continue the architectural language of the windbreaker but also to maintain the organic/green ideals of the restaurant itself. The cistern’s volumes were calculated to sustain the frontage lawn and the design incorporates vegetation within itself as a planter. -
Benetton (9)
The Benetton mixed used project is located in the metropolis that is Tehran Iran. The programmatic requirements where a total of 12 floors of which 2 of the above ground floors would be dedicated to commercial use, 5 dedicated to office space and 1 for residential use plus 4 underground floors for parking. Our concept is biomimic of the pomegranate. By studying its models, systems, processes and elements, we take creative inspiration to solve this architectural challenge, sustainably.

Baryonyx Data Center System (9)
Design for a 100% sustainably powered, tier 4 secured data center. Sustainability within the massive power requirements is achieved as the project is part of a larger wind farm development. The system is easily expandable, modular, and robust for harsh environments and conflict. Location: Dallam Ranch, TX | Project Designer while at Kirksey -
Pathfinder campus (7)
Complete campus design for Pathfinder Energy Services which included square footage of manufacturing, labs, training, and office spaces. location: Houston, TX | Project Designer while at Kirksey -
One Allen Center Courtyard (3)
Design for a revitalization of the outdoor court at One Allen Center. This concept is derived from current usage and paths that shape a pixelated variable block pattern to define and find new uses and textures for latent space. 'Blocks' are defined on a scale of hard to softscape and are a gradation of solid surfaces to vegetation. location: Houston, TX | Project Designer while at Kirksey -
Spec Office Building Collection (6)
Here are designs of a few speculative office buildings for clients such as J.A. Billip and Panattoni Development Co; generally tiltwall and glass construction. location: Houston, TX | Project Designer while at Kirksey -
Downtown Houston Polar Bear Exhibit (6)
Beginning conceptual design for a possible polar bear exhibit in downtown Houston off I-45 for Landry's Restaurants, Inc. The faceted geometry and purity in color reminds one of ice or an iceburg, while the exoskeleton of the tube-like structure are akin to the primitive notions of a cave. location: Houston, TX | Project Designer while at Kirksey -
LACMA (10)
This study was a counter proposal to the competition entries for LACMA made by Koolhaas, Libeskind, Holl, Mayne and Nouvel. Each of these architects' proposals represents a vision about architecture, especially in relation to the role and function of the Museum within the context of the contemporary cultural condition. Our proposal was to investigate the role of the museum as a memetic parasite for the twenty-first century. We incorporated the programmatic requirements with Knot Topology to create our structure. The structure is composed of a series of programmatic spaces that grow and feed off each other create a living organism that is the museum.
